BioSophie Russell is a fictional character for City By The Bay Mush, based on the world of Anita Blake as written by Laurell K Hamilton. Sophia Ward Russell, Sophie, is a vampire out of the late 17th century of the Dragon's line. From the Bahamas, she's spent all but the last twenty years based in the islands where she lived the life of a pirate. Before moving to San Francisco, she moved to Rhode Island when her powers raised to Master Status.
